City Ballet of San Diego - Dracula

City Ballet of San Diego - Dracula at Balboa Theater

Why see City Ballet of San Diego - Dracula?

Countess Dracula

In a twist to Bram Stoker's insatiable tale, City Ballet of San Diego reimagine Dracula in a thrilling original production choreographed by resident choreographer Geoffrey Gonzalez. In this story we meet the enigmatic Countess Dracula! Following the Countess from the haunting forests of Transylvania to the bustling streets of London, leaving in her wake a trail of women turned to vampires, the production is brought to life by spectacular sets, sensational costumes, and stunning choreography.

Alongside the chilling vampiric work, the company also present the wonderful Emeralds by George Balanchine and a company premiere of Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's Ecliptic. It's a sumptuous evening of ballet that will delight you whether you're a seasoned ballet watcher or a complete newbie, leaving you thirsting for more!
